Black and Gold Birthday Card

This is the first time I have ever done a black and gold card. I decided to try one after I bought the paper stack below at Hobby Lobby. Many of the papers used foiled gold in the designs.

The background is one of the sheets, and the top layer is a piece of black CS I used an Anna Griffin background stamp to make. I stamped it with VersaMark, and embossed it in gold. While I was making that background, I used the same stamp to emboss other colors so I would have other backgrounds ready for other cards. Those backgrounds are at the bottom of this post.

Everything is matted with gold mirror card, and the Spellbinders accents were also cut from gold mirror card. The sentiment is from JustRite and is embossed, and the flowers in the center motif are some very old gold outline stickers in my stash. I used Brilliance Galaxy gold, and a Fantastix blending thing to shade around the stickers.

This is the paper stack I bought. I wish they had carried it in more sizes, because it is beautiful.

These are the other backgrounds I made at the same time with the same background stamp.
