Dragon Card

I made this card with another one of my digital stamps. The dragon is colored with Copics. He was cut out with one of the Spellbinders circles, and mounted onto some blue CS which was cut with a SB scalloped circle. This was mounted dimensionally onto some Chiyogami paper which was matted with more of the blue CS.

The layers were all edged with a gold metallic pen. After I put the card together, the dragon looked kind of flat. The Chiyogami paper had metallic gold in it, and so did the edges of all the layers, but the dragon had none, so I gave him metallic gold claws, and outlined the clouds with gold and he matched better.

The pearls were white ones which I colored with the same gold pen. The color that looks like such a bright pink in this photo is really just a lighter red than his lips. It really isn't that bright in real life.

Another Card using Chiyogami Paper

I love this paper I bought a few years ago, and decided to make another card using it. (The first card I made with it was over a year ago). I decided to make it reminiscent of a screen, so I cut the square into three strips. I also had some opalescent origami paper, and never had used it on a card before, so I matted each strip with that.

The panels are mounted onto some Hana Fubuki paper, which was outlined with a Krylon pen and mounted onto a card. The only embellishments I added were two Recollections daisies, and four little flowers I made.

Chiyogami Paper and Flowers Card

I've had this really pretty embossed Chiyogami paper for a long time, but it was so pretty I was hoarding it. Today I decided to use it on a card. I made a white 6x6 card, then layered purple, gold mirror, and pink CS, with the Chiyogami paper on that. I wanted the paper to be the focal point, so I only added a few flowers. The flower in the center is one of the ones I made from those Prima parts. The roses are some my craft store packages, and the tiny roses on either side of the corner roses are some silk ones I had in my stash. Then I just put Three Queen and Co rhinestones in the opposite corners.

This photo is the inside of the card. I layered it in the same way as the front of the card and added strips of the Chiyogami paper on either side of the writing space.
