New Toys for Christmas

I'm still in New York, typing this on my phone.
We are having a great time with the kids.

Got to Michael s and Hobby Lobby. I finally managed to get that fancy oval Spellbinders I've wanted for at least a year, but neither place had any of the others that I've wanted. HL doesn't have Graphic 45 anymore, so didn't get that this year. Neither place had Stampamajig either.

I finally found a set of 12 Twinkling H20s, which I've wanted foreverx and can't wait to try them! They also had the six pack of lighter colors that you use for shading and highlighting and stuff.

Got quite a few sheets of paper on sale, but neither place had glossy card stock. Also got more Copics and two of those plastic cases that hold 36 markers. I don't have 36 Copics yet, but I want to be ready for when I do!

Got a few cheap punches, and two MS stamp and punch ones. A flower and a butterfly. They look like you could do something interesting with them.

Also got the Stampendous mica flake set, and a set with glitters, and a brilliance ink pad. I forgot the color name, and everything is packed up, but I think it's white with gold shimmers.

I can't wait to play with my new toys!

We will probably leave Rochester tomorrow, spend the night in Sturbridge, MA, and get home on New Years evening. See you all then, or the next day!

Oh, if there are any strange words in this post, it's because I'm not great at typing on the phone.

Have a wonderful New year!

Glad you're enjoying a great time, Kathi. Lucky you being able to visit Michael's and Hobby Lobby! I almost lived in Michael's when we visited the US.
Not a very happy Chrismas here. I've had a sickness bug and the mother of our sons friend committed suicide on Christmas Eve by jumping off a motorway bridge. So sad for the kids, the youngest being just four years old.
Wishing you and your family a healthy and happy new year. And a safe journey back home xx

First of all, I didn't notice any strange words in your post...LOL. You're more likely to find things like that in mine...I try and proofread and still find typo's later on...
Sounds like you are having a good week, and fun "craft" shopping. (which of course, is one of my favorite things to do... Like you didn't know that!). I was fortunate to get some new toys for Christmas too, most of them are from my crafting buddy (also named Kathi) with her gift of 12 days of crafting.
Hope you have a very Happy New Year.

Kathi, thank you stopping by my blog and leaving the lovely comments. In regard to the card you mentioned...I think I know which one you mean, I'll see if I can find the post/or picture of the card. The card is itself is long gone, sent to someone at the Teapot Tuesday party. Thank you for the nice comments on that card too... it was also a favorite of mine.
