I made this Tea Bag Holder for the JustRite Friday Challenge #072 I'm really enjoying this challenge because it's forcing me to make a bunch of three dimensional items I've wanted to make for a long time, but haven't gotten around to making. I made this box from another StampARTic Tutorial by Marianne Skjelstad.
For this box, I used JustRite's Peace On Earth Borders & Centers even though it is really a Christmas set. The saying was nice for a gift, and by using Copics to make the holly look more like a rose, and using pink in the coloring, it really doesn't look like Christmas. I cut the saying with Spellbinders Labels Eighteen, and mounted it with dimensional tape. It is stamped with Distress Peeled Paint. The DP is some I got at Walmart. The back of the box is cut with Spellbinders Grand Labels Four, and the box is distressed with Distress Antique Linen.
The top photo is the box without the teabags in it.
This shows the box with Teabags. Unfortunately I didn't have enough matching tea bags to fill it, so I just grabbed what I had for the photo.
This shows the box from the back.
