Roses Friendship Card

I wanted to use my oval Spellbinders again, so I paired them up with my regular ovals, Decorative Labels Eight, and Labels Eight to make this card. The DP is some old paper by Anna Griffin.

When I outlined the DP, all my gold pens were pretty much out of ink, and it didn't come out very well, then I remembered I had a new one with my Christmas stuff, but unfortunately I didn't have enough of the DP to redo it, so I left it that way. I used the new one on the rest of the pieces, and they came out better.

All the die cut layers are mounted dimensionally. The center medallion is stamped with Memento Bamboo Leaves, and is a JustRite stamp. It is cut out with one of JustRite's Custom Dies by Spellbinders, colored with Copics, and accented with my new gold pen.

The large rose is one of the roses I bought at Michaels in the bridal section. I used Brilliance Rocket Red Gold to accent the petals. The small roses and rose buds are some I've had for a year or so. The foliage at the end of the sprays is from the MS branch punch.

The pearls are gold half pearls and Liquid Pearls.
