Pearly Peacock Card
All the pearls on this card are white, but it is a very reflective card. Some look blue, some look green, some look gold, and some barely show up at all. It's quite dark here, so it was really difficult to photograph this.
I love peacocks, and took tons of photos of them when I was at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in South Carolina last winter, so when my mother saw this Royal Garden CS by DCWV, she bought it for me for Christmas.
I was looking through the paper stack, and when I saw this peacock, it reminded me of a Zva Creative Pearl flourish I had been hording. The flourish was a gift when I sent an order to At Joan's Gardens. Joan is wonderful, and if you are looking to buy some of the more unusual dies, as well as lots of other things, check her site first. She's very fast, and you get to talk to a live person when ordering.
This is a 7" card, so it's really large. The peacock CS is matted with teal CS, blue Core'dinations CS, and gold mirror card, and mounted onto a Core'dinations pearl card. All the Spellbinders cuts were done with more of the pearl and shaded with Brilliance Sky Blue and a gold Krylon pen.
The stamp is from JustRite, stamped with VersaMark, and embossed with gold EP. Besides the flourish, I also added a ton of tiny flat backed pearls.
wow!! This is just STUNNING!

Just like Alex said in a comment above me, "Stunning"! What a fabulous card! This card reminds me of trip to California, one of the vineyards that we visited had Peacocks in their yard. They were so beautiful to watch.
