Another Ornament Card

This is another ornament card I made for my shop because my customers keep buying them.

For this one, I used two stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs. For the stamped background, I used one of my favorite background stamps, Joy to the World Hymn, and for the ornament, I used the smaller stamp from their Ornaments set. I cut them out with the matching Spellbinders 2010 Heirloom Ornament, which I also got from ODBD.

All of the white paper is Core'dinations Pearl, and the colored paper is generic. I mounted these all onto a plain white 5x7 card. The stamping was done using VersaMark, and the embossing is all super fine detail gold. The coloring was done with Copics, and the shading was done with Distress Peeled Paint.

Everything was outlined with a Pen Touch Gold pen, and the ornament was mounted dimensionally. I added gold outline stickers and pearls from my stash. I made the bow and decided to twist the two tails before gluing the ends to the card to give it a nicer shape and make it frame the ornament.

  1. Pretty Kathy, I have an spellbinder ornament die like this, and I keep forgetting I have it...must get it and use it. I like to make Christmas cards, and to date I have about 30 done, Never did I have that many done this early. Usually I wait until the last minute...
